Help at Home in Mississippi is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one in-home and community support for individuals with developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will assist with daily living skills, encourage participation in social activities, document progress, and collaborate with a care team to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

Qualifications

Age 18 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful background check and required training.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
Ability to work safely in clients' homes and communities.
Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities in homes and communities.
Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, personal care, transportation).
Encourage participation in social and community activities.
Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress.
Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy.
Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress; communicating with the team.
