Job summary

Help at Home is seeking Direct Support Professionals in Pontotoc, Mississippi to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live as independently as possible.

As a DSP, you will assist with daily living skills, accompany clients to activities, document care, and communicate with the care team. We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, paid training, health benefits, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old (from eligibility section)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful background check and required training
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance
• Ability to work safely and respectfully in clients' homes and communities
• Compassion, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with developmental disabilities, in home and community settings
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation
• Encourage participation in social and community activities
• Help individuals achieve personal goals and celebrate progress
• Promote choice, independence, and self-advocacy
• Accurately documenting care, activities, and progress
• Communicate with team members to ensure consistent, quality support
