Job summary

DSPs provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, community engagement, and help with daily living activities while following individualized care plans to ensure safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
