Job summary

Prairie Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Provider for Hanson Home in Thief River Falls, MN. This full-time, on-site role offers supervision, care and safety to individuals served, covering daily living activities, recreation, medication management, meals, laundry and cleaning.

The starting wage is $17.50–$18.50 per hour. Candidates must be 17+, have DHS background clearance, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must pass DHS background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read, write, communicate and understand English for company business.
• Read, comprehend, and follow each person served’s program related plans and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, care and safety to individuals served.
• Assist with daily living, recreation, community orientation, medication management, meal preparation, laundry and cleaning.
• Chart daily program information.
• Deliver support based on person-centered service principles.
• Administer CPR/First Aid when needed.
