Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) in Bucks County, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities at home and in the community. You’ll help with daily routines, mobility, and social activities while upholding dignity and safety.

We offer flexible day, evening, and weekend shifts, part-time or full-time opportunities, and paid training. A valid driver’s license is required; background clearance in PA is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient, with genuine care.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Required to pass PA background clearances.
• Comfortable working independently while contributing to a team.
• Experience welcome but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like meals, personal care, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
