Job summary

Thrive CSS is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independent and meaningful lives in their homes and communities.

Flexible schedules exist, including part-time and full-time roles. Training is provided, and prior caregiving experience is a plus. A driver’s license and PA background clearance are required to join our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Pass PA background clearances required.
• Comfortable working independently while part of a team.
• Training provided for new hires.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines in homes and communities (meals, personal care, household tasks).
• Encourage independence, confidence and self-advocacy.
• Assist with community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Follow individualized support plans and health/behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity and respect at all times.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
