Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with IDD in Bucks County, PA. You’ll work in homes and community settings, helping clients live independently with dignity and respect.

The position emphasizes connection, trust, and meaningful daily engagement, with training provided. Flexible day/evening/weekend shifts and weekly pay are available to dedicated team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass PA background clearances.
• Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.
• IDD experience is a plus, but not required (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.
• Help individuals participate in community activities, employment, and social opportunities.
• Follow individual support plans and health or behavioral strategies.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times.
• Communicate openly with supervisors and complete basic documentation.
