Job summary

Thrive Community Support Services (Thrive CSS) seeks compassionate DSPs in Bucks County, PA, to support adults with IDD in homes and communities, helping them live fuller, more independent lives.

You’ll be part of a team that focuses on connection, trust, and meaningful daily interactions, with training provided and opportunities to grow in a mission-driven agency.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable person who genuinely cares
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass PA background clearances
• Comfortable working independently yet within a supportive team
• Experience with IDD is a plus, but not required (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Support daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks
• Encourage independence, confidence, and self-advocacy
• Help individuals participate in community activities, employment, and social opportunities
• Follow individual support plans and health or behavioral strategies
• Ensure safety, dignity, and respect at all times
• Communicate openly with supervisors and complete basic documentation

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities, helping them live fuller, more independent lives. This role is about connection, trust, and showing up for someone in meaningful ways every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting individuals with daily activities like meal prep, personal care, and household tasks
