Abound Health in Cary, NC is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide compassionate caregiving and daily living support to individuals with IDs. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, helping clients live more independently in their homes and communities.

This role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and growth opportunities within a mission-driven company that has served the I/DD

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary.
• Lifting may be required, depending on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required - paid training is provided.

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills; monitor health and safety.
• Communicate with Abound team members, families, and external parties as needed.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
