Abound Health is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Pittsboro, NC to provide caregiving and daily living support for a 32-year-old female with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help her live independently.

The role offers flexible schedules (full-time and part-time), paid onboarding and training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven company with 20+ years in the I/DD space.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or related support roles is beneficial.
• Ability to assist with ADLs and daily living activities.
• Strong communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for daily living activities.
• Assist with meal prep, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Encourage independence and development of new skills.
• Monitor health and safety and maintain a supportive environment.
