Job summary

Abound Health in Pittsboro, NC seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving, ADL support, and community participation for individuals with IDD. You’ll help clients live independently and build daily living skills.

Starting pay is $15.40/hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments for averaging 20+ hours/week. We offer paid onboarding and training, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Willingness to provide personal care as needed.
• No prior experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care to support daily living activities.
• Assist with ADLs and community participation.
• Support individuals in employment and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and communication.
• Promote independence and skill development.
• Ensure health and safety in a supportive environment.
• Document activities and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Collaborate with families, case managers, and Abound Health team.
• Handle flexible full-time or part-time schedules.
