Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Pittsboro, NC to assist a 32-year-old female with IDD in daily living activities and community participation.

Starting pay is $16.50 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus paid in installments; flexible full-time and part-time schedules and weekly pay are offered, along with paid onboarding and growth opportunities within a mission-driven company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on Direct Support including ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support.
• Monitor safety and wellbeing while helping the client live independently.
• Maintain documentation and schedules; complete ongoing training.
• Communicate with the Abound Health team, families, and case managers as needed.
• Assist with meal prep, hygiene, and light household tasks; support learning and independence.
