Job summary

ASG Home Care in New Jersey seeks Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities at home and in the community across New Jersey. DSPs work one-on-one following each client's ISP, promoting independence and daily living success.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, transportation, documenting services, and building meaningful relationships.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized home and community-based support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care, meal preparation, and transportation.
• Encourage independence and community participation aligned with each client's ISP.
• Document services accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Build meaningful, consistent relationships with the individuals you support.
