Job summary

Independent Beginnings Llc is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) / Caregivers to join our home health care team in Ohio. You'll provide direct care, assist with daily activities, and help clients live more independently with support from a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be 18+ years old with a valid driver’s license when transporting clients.
• Criminal background check clearance required.
• Experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily activities: personal care, housekeeping, meals.
• Collaborate with clients’ families and medical professionals to support independence.
• Transport clients to appointments when needed (mileage reimbursement).
