Job summary

S:US is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ohio. This role involves providing habilitation services according to individual service plans and supporting clients in everyday life skill development.

The position offers a flexible work schedule, competitive pay at $19.00 per hour, comprehensive benefits including medical and dental insurance, and a commitment to employee growth through a high promotion rate.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED; associate degree is preferred.
• Need at least one year of experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled persons.
• Preferred certifications include AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR & First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide habilitation services according to client's service plans.
• Assist clients in skill development in daily living activities.
• Administer medication to clients as needed, following policies.
• Ensure nutritional needs are met for assigned clients.
• Report any deficiencies or safety issues regarding client care.
