Job summary

Modern Support Services in Ohio is seeking Direct Service Providers (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living and community activities. You will work in clients' homes and in the community, helping people build independence with respect and safety.

Flexibility is offered with weekday, evening, and weekend shifts; full-time and part-time opportunities are available. A compassionate, patient approach and reliable transportation are essential for success in this

Qualifications

Compassionate, dependable and motivated to support people with developmental disabilities.
Strong communication, organizational and problem‑solving skills.
Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Ohio driver's license.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals in developing independent living skills and routines.
Provide transportation and support for medical appointments and community activities.
Support personal care and homemaker tasks to maintain a safe, clean home.
Respond to daily challenges with sound judgment, patience and problem-solving.
Build positive, respectful relationships with clients, families and team members.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
