Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving independence and improving their quality of life. You will provide hands-on assistance, emotional support, and opportunities for community engagement.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, supporting community participation, and maintaining accurate records while following individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous caregiving/healthcare/DSP experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients in community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication (if certified).
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment.
