Job summary

Alay Home Care is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities, helping them live more independently. You will provide hands‑on assistance, emotional support, and community engagement to improve quality of life.

The role includes daily living support, community participation, and documentation while following individualized care plans. On-site position in New Jersey with flexible day/evening/weekend shifts and competitive hourly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in caregiving or DSP roles preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) and personal care.
• Support community integration and social activities.
• Administer medication if certified.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
• Implement individualized care plans and ensure safety.
