Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent certification required.
• One year experience working with adults with developmental disabilities required.
• Valid Florida driver's license with a safe driver rating.
• Basic first aid training. CPR training/certification.
• T.A.C.T. and/or B.A.T. Certification and/or training (at supervisor's discretion).
• Ability to follow directions, handle emergency situations and exercise good judgement.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Administers, supervises and records medications per physician orders.
• Monitors residents' health and safety; reports incidents promptly.
• Provides for transportation to activities, work, and appointments.
• Maintains documentation and participates in drills and housekeeping tasks.
