Life Launch Direct Support Professionals in Grants Pass, Oregon, seeks Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living independently and engaging in community activities.

Responsibilities include accompanying clients to events, providing one-on-one support, and helping with daily tasks while ensuring safety and dignity. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with benefits and mileage reimbursement for driving your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have basic computer skills and can learn agency applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and attentive to detail.
• Cooperative and willing to learn.
• Ability to interpret various instructions.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Help people get to activities they want to attend (swimming, movies, hikes, concerts).
• Work one-on-one with a person providing individualized supports.
• Plan and follow through with fun activities to help goals.
• Assist in building relationships while respecting dignity and health needs.
• May involve distributing medications, cooking, cleaning, and assisting with routines.
• May provide OTJAC supports at a place of employment.
