Job summary

Ardmore Enterprises is seeking a Direct Support Professional to help individuals with developmental disabilities live independently and participate in community activities. The role focuses on person-centered planning, daily living skills, and community engagement.

You will work in a residential setting, supporting residents with daily routines, outings, and household tasks. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, with experience in similar settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Earned High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational institution.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Able to communicate effectively with the individuals to whom services are provided.
• Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or related populations.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals with a person-centered focus.
• Teach independent living and daily skills to residents in daily routines.
• Plan and participate in social activities and community outings.
• Instruct and assist with household tasks like cleaning and meal preparation.
