Job summary

WellLife Network seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care, advocacy, and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and other needs in their homes and communities in New York.

You will assist with daily living, accompany medical visits, manage medications as directed, and help build community connections, promoting independence and belonging. Training and growth opportunities are offered within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Fluent English for client communication is essential.
• Experience with adults who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care and advocacy for individuals in homes and communities.
• Assist with daily living activities and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as directed and accompany medical appointments.
• Support mobility and safe navigation of environments.
• Plan and participate in recreation, education, and social activities.
• Document daily notes, progress and incident reports in electronic systems.
