Park Lawn is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the CILA program in Tinley Park, IL. The role involves providing direct care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting skill development to promote independence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• No disqualifying events on criminal background check.
• No disqualifying events on Health Care Workers Registry.
• Pass pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test.
• Valid Driver License Required.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct care services for individuals with intellectual disabilities including assistance with activities of daily living such as hygiene, dressing, and eating.
• Train individuals to acquire skills necessary to enhance independence.
• Participate in and implement Individual Habilitation Plans.
• Record observations in participants’ files in English.
• Write legible, clear observations in standard English.
• Complete Medication Program as required by DHS.
