Qualifications

• Proof of Direct Service Professional (DSP) training required.
• Must pass TABE test within 120 days of hire.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive agency vehicles.
• Two years of college or high school diploma with related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide training to residents in daily living skills.
• Assist residents to achieve maximum independent functioning per IHP.
• Plan and supervise programs to promote growth and independence.
• Prepare daily schedules including chores, activities, and appointments.
• Complete and file required documents (progress reports, MAR sheets, logs).
• Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and wellness of residents.
• Monitor residents' medications as per guidelines.
• Attend IHP staffing and staff meetings.
• Assist with meals and dietary needs; supervise recreation and social activities.
