Job summary

Community Access Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Clackamas, Oregon. Earn $21.75–$22.75 per hour as a full-time DSP who helps individuals with IDD build independence and engage with their communities. No prior DSP experience? Paid training is provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Requires patience, reliability, and compassionate approach.
• Must be able to pass a national background check.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Daily Living Support: assist with personal care, hygiene, meal prep, and household tasks.
• Community Engagement: support participation in activities and community events.
• Independence and Life Skills: help individuals pursue goals and build confidence.
• Person-Centered Support: encourage self-advocacy and informed choice.
• Medication Support: assist with medications per training and procedures.
• Documentation and Communication: record services and report changes.
• Team Collaboration: work with coworkers, families, and support networks.
• Respect and Confidentiality: maintain boundaries and a respectful environment.
