Job summary

The Arc of the Ozarks in Mountain Grove, MO is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in daily living and community activities. You’ll mentor, coach, and advocate to help people learn skills and achieve independence.

The position offers a consistent 1:00 PM–9:00 PM schedule on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday with PRN hours, totaling 24 hours per week. Starting pay is $21.00/hour with experience pay available; two-week training is required before

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must complete two-week training with Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Demonstrate passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills (dressing, bathing, hygiene, chores).
• Support community activities and vocational goals for independence.
• Provide medications and health-related support as required per training.
