Job summary

Hope Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Lapeer, MI to support individuals to achieve independence and community integration. This on-site role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility, health management, and social participation.

You will monitor safety, support crisis prevention, build trusted relationships, and help individuals pursue social, educational, and employment goals while working with a caring, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Michigan driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety 24/7 with eyes-on/1:1/15- or 30-minute checks.
• Support crisis prevention, intervention, and resolution.
• Establish collaborative relationships built on trust and empathy through communication.
• Foster partnership with individuals served, the community, and professionals.
• Assist in social and daily living activities and community participation.
