Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals for part-time roles in Bowling Green, OH, offering $17.25–$18.25 per hour with comprehensive paid training. No experience is required, and training covers CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration.

This position supports individuals with developmental disabilities at home, promotes independence and safety, and offers flexible schedules, paid time off and opportunities for advancement as you gain IDD experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle that you're willing and able to use to transport individuals served.
• Valid (Ohio) driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record Must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
