BAYADA Home Health Care in Asheville, NC seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will help clients participate in activities, support personal care, and transport to appointments, with a focus on empowerment and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to transport clients to appointments and activities.

• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming.

What You'll Do As A Direct Support Professional (DSP):

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible

Pay & Schedule for Direct Support Professionals (DSP):

$16/hr. + Weekly pay
