Job summary

ReMed , a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is seeking Part-Time Direct Support Professionals for our 8-bed residential programs in West Chester, Malvern, and Paoli. Roles involve assisting adults with brain injury in daily living, therapies, and accompanying to appointments, with a schedule including Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays 7a-3p and/or 1p-9p.

Required: high school diploma or GED, 21+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients' success in daily living tasks, recreational activities, and vocational pursuits.
• Assists clients with personal care and hygiene (grooming, bathing and feeding), therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and other outings.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.

ReMed , a Collage Rehabilitation Partner is a growing organization dedicated to excellence, honesty and ethics in treating our clients and each other. For more than 40 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Hourly Rate: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience and education

Schedule Options:

Any mix of Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday 7a-3p and/or 1p-9p
