Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, seeks Direct Support Professionals to work in our residential programs in Greensburg and Irwin, PA. The DSP will provide care and support to adults with brain injuries, assisting with daily living, therapies, and accompanying clients to appointments and activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, minimum age 18, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide minimum to maximum assistance and/or supervision to promote clients’ daily living tasks, recreational activities and vocational pursuits.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene, therapies, and driving and accompanying clients to appointments, activities and other outings.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with a variety of medically complicated and behaviorally challenged clients.
