Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide personalized in-home care, helping clients live safely and comfortably at home. Ideal candidates are dependable, patient, and strong communicators who genuinely want to help others.

Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, mobility assistance, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, and careful documentation to ensure coordinated care for clients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Caregiving experience preferred (not required).
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to follow care plans and adapt to changing client needs.
• Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

• Personal care assistance: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting

• Meal preparation based on dietary preferences/restrictions

• Mobility & transfer support: assist with walking, transfers, and prescribed exercises

• Companionship & engagement to support emotional well-being

• Light housekeeping: laundry, vacuuming, keeping a tidy environment

• Transportation & errands: accompany clients to appointments, shopping, etc.
