Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to provide in-home care for seniors and vulnerable adults. You will assist with ADLs, medication administration, mobility support, companionship, and light housekeeping in clients’ homes.

Qualifications

• Med Cert 3 certification is required.
• Experience in direct care or caregiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Administer and manage medications per Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans.
• Assist mobility with gait belt and Hoyer lift as needed.
• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision for client safety.
• Do light housekeeping, meal prep, and home support tasks.
• Monitor changes in client condition and report them promptly.
• Communicate with clients, families, and the care team.
• Follow agency policies and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans

• Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required

• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks

• Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

• Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans

What We Are Looking For:
