Job summary

Right at Home Cleveland West is actively seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with an active Med Cert 3 to join our in-home care team. You will provide essential ADL support, medications management, and companionship to help clients live safely and independently at home.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, administering medications per care plans, aiding mobility, and maintaining clear communication with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Active Med Cert 3 certification (required).
• Experience in direct care or caregiving preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Compassionate, dependable, patient-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Provide personal care and support with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Administer and manage client medications in accordance with Med Cert 3 authorization and care plans

• Support clients with mobility needs, including gait belt and Hoyer lift use when required

• Provide companion care, emotional support, and supervision to ensure client safety

• Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and home support tasks

• Monitor and report any changes in client condition, behavior, or health status

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care team

• Follow all agency policies, documentation standards, and individualized care plans

What We Are Looking For:
