Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Selma, NC. The DSP will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support, fostering independence and safety.

The role offers part-time hours, afternoon/evening shifts, weekly pay, paid onboarding and training, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven company with 20+ years in the I/DD space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities.
• Support community participation and social activities.
• Maintain documentation and schedules.
• Complete ongoing training and professional development.
• Build rapport with individuals and families.
