Job summary

Abound Health in Selma, NC is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD. You will assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support to help clients live independently.

This part-time role offers an afternoon/evening schedule with weekly pay and paid onboarding. Prior behavior experience is preferred, and Abound Health provides paid training and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with individuals with disabilities not required; paid training provided.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support to help individuals build independence.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meals, hygiene, and household tasks.
• Support community participation, employment, and social activities.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
