Job summary

Kindly Direct Care is hiring a caring, dependable Direct Support Professional to provide one-to-one support to an adult with developmental disabilities in Middlesex County.

This role focuses on companionship, community participation, and helping the individual achieve daily goals while following a personalized service plan. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required to access community activities and transport to appointments.

Qualifications

• Warm, patient, dependable and genuinely interested in building a consistent relationship.
• Able to reliably work the posted schedule.
• Comfortable supporting an adult one-to-one in community settings.
• VALID DRIVER LICENSE and VEHICLE REQUIRED

Responsibilities

• Support errands, appointments, recreation, social opportunities, or other community activities as applicable.
• Encourage independence, communication, decision-making, self-advocacy, and life skills.
• Help the individual work toward goals identified in the service plan.

• Complete required documentation and communicate reliably with the Kindly team.

About This Opportunity

This individual is looking for a consistent DSP who can provide companionship and help them get out into the community. The position includes transporting an individual to appointments, school and going out in the community. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys building genuine relationships and helping another person participate more fully in everyday life.
