Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are hiring a positive and personable individual to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. The role provides community‑based support and assists clients in achieving their goals.

Job Type: Regular

Pay: $15.00 per hour (base pay set by experience and location) with additional bonuses and differentials for specific shifts and locations.

Schedule: Shifts vary by location; options include day, evening, and weekend shifts covering all seven days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Assist with health and safety procedures.
• Provide developmental support to individuals.
• Support community life and daily activities.
• Assist team members and supervisors as needed.
• Help implement person‑centered plans and document outcomes.
• Respond to medical requests.
• Collect and report data.

Position Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School diploma or GED.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 70 lbs., pull up to 50 lbs., and squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stop as needed.
• Stand and walk regularly.
• Manipulate objects, tools, or controls with hands and fingers.
• Perform CPR and hand‑on‑knee exercises.
• Meet close, distance, and peripheral vision requirements.
