Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP)

We are hiring for a positive and personable individual to provide care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges. The role involves assisting clients with daily activities, health and safety procedures, and community life while following each person’s Centered Plan.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with health and safety procedures and emergency response.
• Support the person in identifying and communicating their requests and needs.
• Implement services to achieve goals outlined in the Centered Plan.
• Assist with people–supported development and community life activities.
• Provide support to team members and supervisors.
• Assist with medical requests and data collection/reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive when required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs., pull 50 lbs., perform squats, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and use hands for objects and tools.
• Regularly stand, walk, and demonstrate proficiency in CPR.
• Clear vision (close, distance, peripheral).
• Background checks, drug testing, and education verification as required.
