We are hiring for a Caregiver / Direct Support Professional ICF / DSP (Regular position) to provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those facing mental health and substance use challenges.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote healthy living, prevent illness and accidents, and increase awareness of self‑advocacy.
• Assist with personal care, bathing, and daily living tasks.
• Help with household chores such as laundry, cleaning, and decorating.
• Accompany clients to work, community outings, appointments, and other activities.
• Teach independent living skills and foster positive relationships in the community.
• Modulate assistance with medication administration where state law allows.
• Document care provided and maintain confidential client records.
• Connect clients with resources for education, employment, and volunteer opportunities.
• Support decision‑making about living, work, and relationships.
• Advocate effectively and protect client confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
