We are hiring for: Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (Waiver) / DSP – Type: Regular. We are looking for a positive and personable individual to provide support for people with intellectual, developmental disabilities and mental health or substance use challenges.

Our services include assisting individuals or groups in the community, helping them communicate their needs, implementing services based on their Centered Plan, and providing overall support in a respectful and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Health and Safety Procedures
• Assist with People Supported Development
• Assist with Person Supported Community Life
• Provide support to team members and supervisors
• Assist with person-centered plan and outcomes
• Assist with medical requests
• Assist with data collection and reporting

Position Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
• High School diploma or GED
• Physical ability to lift 30 lbs routinely, lift up to 70 lbs, pull up to 50 lbs, squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, stand, walk, handle objects, and stand for regular periods.
• Ability to demonstrate CPR proficiency
• Vision: adequate close, distance, and peripheral vision
