Job summary

Dungarvin is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live independently with dignity. You will work on a 2nd shift schedule, with full-time and part-time options, and participate in paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Starting pay is $19 per hour for FT and PT roles, with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain background clearance.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation where required.
• Strong reading, writing, and documentation skills.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind attitude with teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance, encouragement, mentoring, and guidance.
• Ensure comfort, safety, and personal growth of individuals served.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as mobility, dressing, bathing, toileting, and hygiene.

A Direct Support Professional (DSP) caregiver provides direct support, positive direction, instruction, and assistance to individuals with mental, intellectual & developmental, and physical disabilities. The ultimate goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live as independently and comfortably as possible while maintaining their dignity and respect.
