Job summary

Graceworks Enhanced Living is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No prior experience required; comprehensive training, CPR/First Aid, and medication administration certification are provided.

Shifts available include full-time and part-time with competitive wages and experience-based increases. Volunteers and caregivers help residents live as independently as possible in a caring community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ohio Driver's License with less than 6 points
• Willingness to drive company vans to transport individuals (training provided)
• Pre-hire drug screen including Marijuana (medical card holding not exempt)

Responsibilities

• Direct Support Professionals are caregivers. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
• DSPs assist with daily needs: cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance, bathing.
• Occasionally accompany individuals to activities and events.

Position description:

• Direct Support Professionals are caregivers. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
• The ideal candidate is someone who is anaturally kind and compassionate person that would enjoy helping people and having fun with them.
• DSPs often take care of daily needs; cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance, bathing etc. On occasion, they will take individuals bowling or to the movies, and often join individuals at church or volunteer events.

The goal is to help our residents feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.Be a companion; learn to be a caregiver for someone in your community!
