Job summary

Graceworks Enhanced Living in Ohio is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our compassionate team. No experience required; training is provided. Full-time and part-time shifts available, with wages starting at $16 per hour and increases with experience.

CPR/First Aid and Medication Admin certification training offered. DSPs support residents with daily needs, transportation, meals, bathing, and medication assistance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ohio Driver's License with <6 points.
• Willing to drive company vans (training provided).
• Pre-hire drug screen including Marijuana; medical card does not exempt.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily needs: cooking, cleaning, transportation, and bathing.
• Provide medication assistance and supervision as required.
• Join residents in activities like bowling, movies, church or volunteering.
• Support independence and act as a compassionate companion.

Position description:

• Direct Support Professionals are caregivers. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
• The ideal candidate is someone who is anaturally kind and compassionate person that would enjoy helping people and having fun with them.
• DSPs often take care of daily needs; cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance, bathing etc. On occasion, they will take individuals bowling or to the movies, and often join individuals at church or volunteer events.

The goal is to help our residents feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.Be a companion; learn to be a caregiver for someone in your community!

Minimum Qualifications
