Traditional Home Care in Williamsport, PA is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training.

Shifts include full-time or part-time, weekdays, weekends, and evenings, with weekly pay and EVV-compliant logging. You will assist with personal care, companionship, communication, light housekeeping, and community

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) is required.

Mansioni

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and appropriate communication/social interaction.
• Light housekeeping and chores to maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure safety and teach basic safety skills.

Location: Williamsport, PA; Jersey Shore, PA

Pay Range: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

IMMEDIATE NEEDS: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekdays, Weekends and Evenings

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job Duties

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skills
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must Have Drivers License
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements: This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
