Job summary

Traditional Home Care seeks Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals with IDD, autism, and mental health needs. You will assist with personal care, companionship, and daily activities, while maintaining a safe environment.

Flexible shifts include part-time and full-time, weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays. EVV-compliant logging via mobile device is required, with prospects for weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires prior Direct Support Professional experience.
• Experience providing one-on-one non-medical care.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and errands as needed.
• Promote safety and teach basic safety skills.
• Support individuals to meet goals and participate in community activities.
• Document care using EVV on mobile device.

Location: Milford, PA; Pocono Woodland Lakes, PA

Shift: Part-Time, Full-Time, Weekday, Weekend and Evenings, All Shifts

Immediate Openings: Bethlehem, Pa: All shifts available!!! Schedules will vary; must be flexible

Traditional Home Care, A locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable, experienced direct support professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical support to our individuals diagnosed with intellectual, developmental disabilities, autism, mental health, behavioral diagnoses, etc.

Job Duties Include

• Assist individuals with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Companionship
• Appropriate communication/social skilled
• Light housekeeping and chores
• Ensuring a safe environment and teaching basic safety skills
• Meeting individual goals and outcomes
• Promoting community involvement (outings, activities, errands, etc.)

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience as a Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Mobile Device & EVV Requirements

This position is in compliance with the 21st Century Cures Act, which mandates Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) for home care / home health services. As part of this, you will be required to use a mobile device to log visits and track service hours. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets if not provided and must have reliable internet access to meet these requirements.
