Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-to-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available; paid training and competitive pay are offered.

Flexibility and compassionate, dependable care are valued as you help individuals achieve independence and participate in community activities with support as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass required background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience supporting individuals with I/DD is preferred but not required; CPR and First Aid training will be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with IDD in homes and communities.
• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities.
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping.
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.

$21.50–$26.50 per hour
