Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety so no experience is required.

Walk-ins/open interviews are held every Monday from 11am-3pm at our local office located at 7695 Poe Ave, Dayton, OH 45414. Please bring your OH driver's license, I-9 documents, auto insurance card and highest level of education.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – foster independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life.
• Completing household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe living environment.
