Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional for part-time roles in Bowling Green, OH and surrounding areas. No experience is required, as comprehensive training is provided, including CPR, First Aid, and Medication Administration.

You will support individuals with developmental disabilities at home, assisting with daily activities, meals, and safety to foster independence. A personal vehicle and valid Ohio driver’s license with acceptable MV record are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals served.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and car insurance; MV Record must meet criteria.
• Ability to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs and to climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in home settings.
• Supervise, teach and assist individuals in daily life activities.
• Complete household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
