Job summary

ViaQuest Residential Services is hiring Direct Support Professionals in the Dayton, OH area. The role offers an hourly wage of $17.50–$18.50 and requires no previous experience; we provide full training including CPR, First Aid, and medication administration.

Interview is walk-in at our local office located at 7695 Poe Ave, Dayton, OH 45414. Applicants must bring a valid OH driver’s license, ID verification, auto insurance, and education documents. Benefits are offered for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Personal, reliable vehicle to transport individuals.
• Valid driver's license and car insurance.
• Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest's Authorized Driver Criteria.
• Can push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and can climb, balance, kneel and crouch.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times.
• Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of his/her life.
• Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.

At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety sono experience is required.
